Das sieht aber ganz anders aus, als Hollywoods Bilder !
Die Authentizität springt einen geradezu an - wobei die Frisur der jungen Frau
wohl eher europäischen Moden geschuldet sein dürfte

Ja, die Realität ist heute noch sehr schlimm, wir besuchten den Bundesstaat Arizona, und bekamen recht viel über die Kultur der Leute bzw. Indianer
mit. Noch heute sind sie Menschen dritter Klasse, war der Ami nicht mit anderen Kriegen beschäftigt, dann schickte er Truppen um diese Leute auszurotten,
General Sherman meinte, die Indianer behindern unseren Fortschritt, sie müssen weg, er war damals der höchste General und eng mit dem Präsidenten Grant
befreundet.

Fast wäre es den Weißen ja auch gelungen, die Indianer komplett auszurotten, vor dem
Ersten Weltkrieg waren sie eine verschwindend kleine Minderheit geworden, prozentual
hatten sie einen noch geringeren Anteil an der Gesamtbevölkerung als heutzutage.
Und sie sind laut Statistik die ärmsten Amerikaner, noch hinter Schwarzen und Latinos.
Ersten Weltkrieg waren sie eine verschwindend kleine Minderheit geworden, prozentual
hatten sie einen noch geringeren Anteil an der Gesamtbevölkerung als heutzutage.
